Today’s LookIT! assignment is to take a picture at 3:06 p.m.
Here’s what I decided to do, my last meeting of the day was from 3:00 – 4:00 and instead of taking just a shot of my phone, I decided to try out a new app I got yesterday called Diptic which allows you to combine 2-4 images into a single image. Since I was on a teleconference call (disclaimer: of course, I took the images right at the start of the meeting when greetings and such were going on) the first is of the phone (dur), the second is of my headset (had to try to get a picture of one of my kids in the shot) hanging on my monitor and the third is of the agenda (with the “other” information scrubbed) showing the date and time. Sooo, go vote for me now!!! Enjoy…

iPhone: 4
Apps: Monochromia, TiltShift, Diptic and Any Mark
DoF for the agenda added in TiltShift, all images converted to B&W in Monochromia. Combined the images in Diptic and of course, the © added in Any Mark.
Note: I originally had in my notes that I had used Photo fx for the DoF, it was actually TiltShift. Sorry about that.
The composition of your work is always so perfect….whether it be iPhone or Canon. 🙂
Why thank you!
I’m finding the time of the day themes a bit boring and really have lost interest in it but, this photo is extremely inspiring. Each of the individual photos are beautifully taken and the complete collage works so well together. I’m really impressed with this, it’s one of my favourite ‘David’ photos. Even the white border is perfect.
Nigel, thank you so much…it always means a lot when I hear comments such as yours! I will admit that I was rather…hmmm, disappointed with the lack of votes. Oh well, such is life eh? Besides, I am actually having a good time with the photos…making me think a little harder at what to capture. 😀

David, this is my favourite shot from all the ones I have seen so far… You have been very creative not only with each shot but also with the concept of combining the three shots into one and the effect is really pleasing to the eye.
Black and white helps to bring the pictures together…. What can I say brilliant !!
Thanx!! I think this is one of my favourites shots as well! The B&W definitely made the shot for me. 🙂
